Tinkering
Projects With and for Them
Some simple projects we (my kids and I) embarked on in the past. Bonding, learning, creating, but mostly having fun (I hope).
There is something about getting your hands dirty that must help myelin work its magic...
The kinesthetic, visceral sense we get from imagining and then creating and building something is a fantastic way to feel fulfilled. Even taking things apart provides some of the same feelings.
We learn (mostly) by doing and after all, knowledge is found in and around us, and not just in our heads, so these experiences are vital.
(I will post a few examples as soon as I can find the photographic proof)
